Welcome to Harry Potter: Family Studies

Welcome all to the Harry Potter: Family Studies class!

This class is one hundred percent focused on the families J.K. Rowling created in the Harry Potter series. However, not only will you learn about several family trees in the world of Harry Potter, but I also hope to teach you more interesting facts about each family.  This class will be focused on four pure-blood families in the Harry Potter world. For this term, the four families that will be studied are: the Weasleys, the Blacks, the Peverells, and the Dumbledores. However, there are many more families from the Harry Potter world to be studied; so, if your favourite family was not chosen for this term, make sure you check back next term because there is a very good chance the lessons will have changed.

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Alexander Greb and I am teaching the Harry Potter: Family Studies class for the first time! I have never taught a class before, but am very excited to get started. I am a Second Year Slytherin and Promising Student. I am also the Co-Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch Team. Opal Curare is the assistant for this class, and she is also a Slytherin Promising Student. Together we have both worked very hard to put this class together and we truly hope you enjoy our efforts.

I also have some other quick information that I am sure most of you are wondering about. First, this class will be running for one term (Feb-June). That means that 300 points is the maximum amount of points you will be able to receive in this class. Secondly, you must earn 150 points and complete the final exam to receive a quill. Lastly, there will be 3 awards given out to top students in different areas at the end of term.

Please make sure that you read the FAQ before signing up and sending in work for this class. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact me personally contact me, Alexander Greb via HOL Message.
